Categories
Please bear in mind that to qualify for a category, a fic must feature that theme as a major plotline. Just mentioning it is not enough.
1. Azkaban
Fics where a character is unjustly sent to Azkaban prison.
2. Bonding
Fics where two or more characters are magically bonded to each other, willingly or otherwise.
3. Childhood of canon characters
Fics where a canon character is shown as a child - but not de-aging stories, Severitus or Sevitus.
4. De-aging stories
Fics where a character's age is reduced mentally or physically, but not by time travel.
5. Evil or Dark Lord Harry
Fics where Harry has joined Voldemort's side, or taken his place.
6. Forced marriage
Fics where two people are forced to marry each other against their will. This could include entries to the Marriage Law challenge.
7. Harry with superpowers
Fics where Harry has magical powers far beyond that of a normal wizard.
8. Infidelity & break-ups
Angsty fics where one person cheats on another, or where a couple breaks up.
9. Mpreg
Fics where a male character gets pregnant.
10. Severitus & Sevitus
Fics where Harry is Snape's biological son, or where Snape adopts him.
11. Slavery
Fics where one character is enslaved to another. This does not include voluntary D/s.
12. Sorting AUs
Fics where somebody is placed in a different House at Hogwarts than they were in canon.
13. Time travel
Fics where somebody travels to the past or the future.
14. Veela fics
Fics where a main character is a Veela.
15. Voldemort wins
Fics where Voldemort wins the war and assumes control of the Wizarding World.
